The exclusive part of the cash plan, when combined with a private medical insurance scheme, include; guaranteeing that you will be able to claim your excess for your private medical insurance back. Other cash plans will allow you to do this, but under strict criteria of what categories you can claim.
No age restrictions for members
For example consultations and therapies and scans would be covered, but if you need to go from a consultation to an operation straightaway and the excess was higher than the consultation, you would not be able to claim the value for the inpatient treatment. With this exclusive plan it guarantees to cover the excess value, whatever that excess is for. It also provides a fee within the policy, a fee to cover, a GP report should you need to make a claim on your private medical insurance. It has no age restriction for the members. Some cash plans have restrictions of 65, or 68. The premium is the same with this policy whether you are 18 or 88!
The dependence cover (typically children under the age of 18 years of age). With a normal cash plan, this was ends at the age of 18, which could cause some complications when combining with private medical insurance, since dependence are covered up to the age of 24. This plan is exclusive as it covers dependence up to the age of 24, ensuring that when combined with the private medical insurance plan, you can claim the full access back for all the members of the family.
